How does it work
We attach our hose to your water spigot and use our sanitizer applicator to spray your grass, turf, patio, or deck. Our all-natural formula contains an oxidizing agent that quickly breaks down odor-causing compounds in pet waste, effectively removing the foul smell.
We don't cover urine and poop smells with artificial fragrances. We eliminate the odors altogether!
When applied to non-living surfaces like artificial turf, tile, decking, and concrete our biodegradable spray not only eliminates the area’s stinky odor, but it also sanitizes and disinfects, making the area safer and more enjoyable for your family.

Why does my yard smell?
Bacteria is present in dog poop and urine. Bacteria produces chemical compounds such as indole, methane, dimethyl trisulfide, and butyric acid. And these compounds stink...really bad! The longer pet waste sits in the yard, the more time this bacteria has to release terrible smells into the air.

Will one deodorizer application remove all pet waste odor?
Usually, our spray eliminates odors with just one application. In the case of built-up, super strong, or stubborn odors, a second round might be necessary. Remember, we're here for a fresh and inviting lawn, and we'll get you there, no matter what it takes!
How often should the deodorizer service be performed?
If you’ve got big dogs, multiple pets, or a small yard, smells can build up faster. Regular spray keeps odors down and adds bonus perks: fewer flies, healthier grass, and a fresher space overall.
Do I need to be home for the deodorizing and sanitizing service?
You don't need to be home for us to perform your deodorization and sanitation service. If you're already a scooping customer, we'll access your yard the same way as we do on your regular visits. If you're a new PooRover customer, just let us know how to access the yard and we'll do the rest.
How long does the deodorization last?
The effect of the deodorization is immediate and long-lasting. But keep in mind, if your dog continues to go potty outside, treating those odors will be a constant chore. Consistent treatments are the best way to eliminate odors.
What areas can be treated?
Essentially any area in your yard! Examples include your lawn (real or artificial), patios, decks, and tiled areas.

So, if you think your dog may not want us in their yard and could be aggressive, please put your dog somewhere safe and secure while your PooRover technician picks up the pet waste. This will make your dog happy and is helpful to your PooRover too.
